1981

PT BAKRIE - ARMCO was established on February 16, 1981. It was initially formed through a strategic joint venture between ARMCO Australia and PT Bakrie & Brothers. Focus: Establishing the foundation of the business in the metal industry on an international scale.

1987

Transformation of PT BAKRIE - ARMCO

On May 26, 1987, PT BAKRIE - ARMCO officially changed its corporate name to PT BAKRIE CORRUGATED METAL INDUSTRIES as part of a strategic initiative to refine its brand identity and business focus.

2008

Establishment of PT BAKRIE METAL INDUSTRIES

To reinforce its position in the metal processing and manufacturing industry, PT BAKRIE CORRUGATED METAL INDUSTRIES officially changed its name to PT BAKRIE METAL INDUSTRIES on September 28, 2008.

2013

Transformation of the BMI EPC Operational Unit

To broaden operational capabilities and strengthen its presence in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction sector, PT BAKRIE METAL INDUSTRIES established a dedicated operational business unit, BMI EPC, in 2013.
